The Zero Inventory Balance process (ZIB) saves Helena Industries' clients' money while verifying their active ingredient investments are well protected. The ZIB commitment provides actual consumption numbers and validation of ingredient consumption with SPC data from our labs. Our clients can review yield rates at a glance and confirm that their active ingredient consumption is fully represented in the AI of the finished goods output. 

Our clients benefit from ZIB in two ways:

• Externally at the end of a campaign, yield information is provided containing ending inventories, yield percentages, bag weight variance, SPC data from the lab, and most importantly, an analysis of the usage of all materials with respect to the output. This confirms that Helena Industries has acted in our clients’ best interests.
   
• The ZIB process is also used internally during the manufacturing process to validate that the finished goods production is accurately reflected in the consumption. This information is reviewed with the manufacturing departments and the lab for confirmation and discussion, and is used as a check and balance system during the campaign to verify both our consumptions and the AI percentage of finished goods.
